At NESE, students learn more than just language; they learn American culture as well. Our students succeed rapidly because intensive English language training combined with complete cultural immersion has proven to maximize language learning. At NESE, students attend intensive classes during the day and have the opportunity to go home to an American family homestay or a dormitory in the evening. All day, every day, our intensive program exposes students to American language and culture, providing an opportunity for the fastest language learning possible. Excellent Teachers Because of its reputation, NESE is able to attract teachers who hold degrees from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and other top universities. NESE teachers are dynamic professionals with exceptional teaching experience who have been selected to teach at NESE because of their high level of expertise and dedication. Small Classes Our average class size is 10 students, ensuring lively discussions, frequent student participation, and intensive student-teacher interaction. Intensive and Semi-Intensive Programs five Days per Week Students have the choice of participating in NESE's Intensive Program from 9:00-3:15 each day or in NESE's Semi-Intensive Program from 9:00-12:00 each day. Both programs offer 10 levels of language and culture training. Elective and After-School Courses In addition, students can choose from our elective and after-school courses. These include TOEFL Preparation, Business English, Legal English, Pronunciation, and University Preparation. (Five students must register in order for a NESE after-school course to take place.)
Official Transcripts and Certificates At the end of every session, students receive an official NESE transcript that provides information about their English proficiency and academic achievement in each skill area. You will also receive a NESE Certificate of Attendance for participating in our program, and upon successful completion of NESE's highest level, you will be awarded a NESE Diploma.
