Dante Alighieri Camerino, is located in the old town center of the Medieval city, seat of a University, of Camerino. We have a long-time experience in teaching Italian language and culture to foreigners. We cooperate with experts, improving our success all over the world. Furthermore, our facilities and lodging allow our guests to experience an unforgettable time in an international environment while living in an Italian context. The average class counts 14-16 students of all ages. Our school offers both CELI (Certificate of Knowledge of Italian Language issued by the University for Foreigners of Perugia) and DILS (Didactics of Italian Foreign Language) of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia certification exams.
Our school is in Camerino in the Marche region of central Italy which is rich in beautiful scenery, interesting cultural events, gastronomic, folkloric festivals and magnificent works of art. Marche is the native land of famous figures such as Raffaello, Leopardi, Rossini, Bramante so it is an ideal place for both an unforgettable and convenient holiday and an intensive study of Italian language and culture. The ancient University of Camerino dates back to 1336 and it is well-known for its scientific research opportunities and cultural life . Camerino’s central location allows you to reach quickly the famous places nearby such as Urbino, San Marino, Rimini, Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi, or others, relatively far away, like Florence, Rome, Bologna, Venice, Naples and Capri. The School is located in the historical town centre and has bright and well-equipped classrooms; there is a library, video library, internet point, WI-FI, projection room and there are also rooms for study, meetings and leisure activities. Courses of Italian language and culture are intensive; they have a total duration of 4 weeks – 100 hours divided into 80 hours of language classes and 20 hours of culture lessons. These include didactic activities during the tours guided by our teachers and excursions to the most beautiful cities of the Marche Region and Italy (Rome, Florence, Bologna). Shorter courses of 3 or 2 weeks are also available. A normal day class schedule (Monday – Friday) is from 9.15 am to 1.15 pm. Our classes consist of small groups of 14-16 students in order to develop better communication skills and learn quickly to speak Italian.
